John John Florence injured, out of Fiji event

Yes, it’s true, unfortunately. John John Florence is officially out of the Fiji Pro. After the Oi Rio Pro finished, John connected with Filipe for one last trip to round out filming for his upcoming project. It was during one of these sessions, south of Rio, that an air went wrong and resulted in a high ankle sprain, meaning four to six weeks out of the water. He’s hopeful for J-Bay, but sadly, Fiji is off the table. Watch the clip to find out the exact details. Luckily he’s got the best physio in the biz in his corner.
