I honestly think that, if given the opportunity, I’d turn down the invitation to go on a surf trip with Jamie O’Brien. Sure, he’s a great guy. An absolute pleasure to be around and talk to. And it’d be all fun and games and perfect waves at first. But then I’d either be getting towed into some Mexican death closeout on a skimboard or scribbling my will on an inflatable raft whilst going over the falls. All while Jamie zips away on a ski, his laughter fading away into the horizon. In other words: The Sean McInerney/Poopies treatment. The above clip was taken back in 2015, when Jamie teamed up with Brad Domke and his Robin (Poopies) south of the border, but only recently came to light. Illuminating sandy-brown hangers, skimboard whip-ins and more. Probably safe to assume an unconscionable amount of Modelos were consumed (see: Bull riding section) as well.
