Jaleesa Vincent Eats Forbidden Fruit, Paints Hell, Tap Dances To Punk Rock And Loves Corny Goo
New edit, ‘End of the Land’ brings the purgatory to mind.
The Children of the Corn was a horror film released in 1984.
The film tells the story of a malevolent entity referred to as “He Who Walks Behind the Rows,” which entices the town’s children to ritually murder all the town’s adults and a couple driving across the country, ensuring a successful corn harvest.
Jaleesa Vincent’s latest edit is reminiscent of that movie.
Laced with spook, stylish frontside laybacks, fine embroidery, joyous tap dancing, love songs, and dark biblical themes, her 9-minute clip is a bubbling bone broth of sweet and sanguine. I think it is best left unblurbed for the audience to interpret as they will. It would also help me write this blurb, as I don’t quite know what to say.
Come for Jaleesa’s graceful railwork, stay for the spooky charm. Watch here.
