Jai Glindeman Has A New Sponsor (And A Clip To Prove It)

Welcome to the Globe team.

Words by Michael Ciaramella

Jai Glindeman’s had a big few years. He was voted the Best Junior in our 2020 Stab Surfer of the Year poll. Prior to that, and with the full consent of his parents, he did his first Microdose. And way back in 2018, he starred in our inaugural Stab Innocents film with Craig Ando and co.

Today marks another huge milestone in Jai’s inevitable ascent. He just signed with Globe shoes, and in doing so, cemented his professional surfing career even further. Globe has always been known to maintain long and fruitful relationships with their chosen few (see: Taj Burrow and Dion Agius), which bodes well for the 17-year-old Australian.

Even if he and Globe decide to part ways some several decades in the future, Jai can rest assured that his footwear needs will be covered for life, as Globe’s new shift toward sustainability includes a lifetime guarantee for their products. So save those receipts, Jai.

According to Globe, Jai’s only focus right now is surfing good waves. We’ll be curious to see if he stays in that lane or eventually veers toward competition. Either way, we’ll be watching.
