Here’s What Dane Reynolds Rides At Rincon
The Black and White.
Dane Reynolds x Channel Islands x Rincon is the combination for a damn fine blade. Britt Merrick builds all his prototypes by hand, passes them off to his team riders, waits for feedback, tweaks, plugs them into the computer and the output’s some of the best surfboards around. This winter, Dane and Britt stepped into the shaping room and out into the best winter Rincon’s seen in 18 years. After consistent reworking, Mr Merrick with the input of Mr Reynolds has fine tuned the Black and White until it was ready for public consumption.
Dane rides his model at 6’0 x 19 x 2 3/8. But, the biggest mistake you can make while ordering a surfboard is ordering the same dims as your fav pro. The board will work in anything from chest to ceiling high with it’s main R&D taking place from Rincon to Silverstrand. It’ll go just fine in a punchy beachie but if you want the Black and White to show her colours, stick her on a lined up point.
We took the liberty to jot down the stock dims. This is just a blueprint, adjust accordingly:
5’8 x 18 3/8 x 2 1/16 23.5l
5’9 x 18 1/2 x 2 1/8 24.9l
5’10 x 18 3/4 x 2 3/16 26.4l
5’11 x 19 x 2 1/4 27.8l
6’0 x 19 1/8 x 2 5/16 29.2l
6’1 x 19 1/4 x 2 3/8 30.6l
6’2 x 19 1/2 x 2 7/16 32.2l
6’3 x 19 3/4 x 2 1/2 33.8l
6’4 x 20 x 2 9/16 35.6l
