Hayden Rodgers, 11, Stuffs Tubes With More Class Than CT Surfers

It’s equal parts amazing and depressing to see a small human, like someone who’s literally 80 pounds, surfing with more style and grace than guys on the CT. Hayden Rodgers, an 11-year-old screwfoot from Laguna Beach, California, fits that mold to a T. The video above covers Hayden’s summer trip to Bali, on which he displayed a tube-riding masterclass at a lefthand reef and an aerial assault on the island’s less pristine wedges. What is there to take from this? Well, contrary to popular belief, natural surfing talent does still exist in the USA. Oh, and CT guys need to take notes of Hayden getting barreled. It looks better when he does it.
