After joining the tour in full time 2012 Gabriel Medina has won two world titles, come second twice, and finished in third place another two times. In eight years he’s only finished outside of the top 10 once.

The above is a compilation of Gabriel Medina’s best moments from the World Tour. The surfing that’s earned him his titles and also assisted him in becoming surfing’s biggest social media star—although being friends with the likes of Neymar also helps that cause. 

There’s the pumping 2014 Teahupo’o, Pipe Masters showdowns, French beachie absurdity, and the odd wavepool ‘run’ for fans of freshwater surfing.
