Feel Good ISD Content From The Best Island In The World*
Billabong presents Know The Feeling Siargo, Phillipines
As many of you know, ISD was this past Saturday, leaving many of your favorite surf brands/figures to shove a plethora of platitudes about the surf community down your throat. While all of these come from a positive, well-intentioned place, much of the content lacks originality.
Enter Billabong’s “Know The Feeling” Campaign—a truncated version of their decades-old tagline, “Only A Surfer Knows The Feeling”.
This ISD finds the Bong crew exploring a small teardrop island in the Philippines called Siargao.
Pronounced shar-gow, the island’s natural beauty is abundant, right down to its inhabitants. Voted the Best Island In The World by Conde Nast Travel, the tropical island is centered around a life in the sea. It’s clear that surfing is the common thread between all those who call Siargao home, and while that’s overtly stated in the video, it’s felt far more than it’s heard. Click in for three feel-good minutes with Know The Feeling Siargao, Philippines.
