Does Angry Music Make You Surf Harder?
Eithan Osborne + grunge rock = top tier thrash content.
Eithan Osborne has a rep for going hard.
Whether it’s that behemoth in Interlusion or choking himself with a burrito to win MVP of Stab Highway California, the 23-year-old from Ventura is not known for holding back.
I’ve never surfed with Eithan, but he seemed like a jovial guy when I met him slinging beers at the Motel Hell premiere at Dane Reynolds’ Chapter 11 shop in Ventura.
Like surfing, music quality is subjective, and the tunes you put on before paddling out say a lot about you. I know some surfers who blast The Lonely Island and Akon’s “I Just Had Sex” before suiting up. Others stick with traditional rock ‘n’ roll. And I don’t know anyone who listens to classical music on the way to the beach.
This edition of Chapter 11 TV’s Daily Exports features a (presumably) fired-up Eithan stomping all manner of club sandwich turns and board-buckling full rotations set to raucous grunge music.
It will either have you smashing guitars or finally hitting that end section that scares you — comment below which way you’re leaning.
