Well, 15-year-old Pierpont rat Dimitri Poulos ain’t far behind. Honed on the area’s myriad points and wedges, he’s got the quintessential Rincon-tuned compression in his bottom turns and plenty of power in his wraps and carves. He can slide a tail, but the kid’s nails on a rail. Yes, he’s guilty of chucking a few pizzas, but give him another edit or two and he’ll get those unwieldy arms under control.

His latest edit, compiled from highlights from this otherwise slow California winter, is proof positive that his prowess in the water continues to evolve and develop. Keep an eye out for Dimitri, he’s got a little Conner Coffin flavor, which will serve him well as he starts aging up.
