Cult Australian Hero, “Naked Dad”, Has A Kid Who Surfs Quite Well

You certainly haven’t forgotten about the biggest surf story of yester-decade, when hero dad Justin Lee stripped nude to deliver his son a back-up board mid-heat, mid-winter, at the Skullcandy Pro Jr. in Lennox Head, Australia. 

It’s there that we learned about Connor Lee, the luckiest boy in the world, who on top of having a hall-of-fame dad also has quite the tidy frontside reo. 

After hearing this story, it didn’t surprise us to learn that the Lee clan is well regarded in the Aussie surf world, going back at least three generations but probably many, many more. 

In the latest O’Neill O’riginals episode (screening above), we learn more but still not enough about the Lee family lineage. We also get to gawk over Connor’s teenaged agility and Justin’s Redhead Beach Surf Club over-40-division-leading backside assault.
