Chelsea Tuach Is A Prime Barbados Export
The Caribbean cutie enjoying a brief El Salvadorian stay
The last we checked in on Barbados’ lovely Chelsea Tuach, she was returning from a few weeks in Indo, taking a break from competition to just go traveling and surfing, and don’t that just sound like The Life.
This week, the fit and frothing 22-year-old hit us from home in Barbados, after a quick trip to Central America, where she’d posted up in El Salvador, enjoying bikini weather and sandpoint fun, as seen above.
“It’s definitely been nice at home [in Barbados], enjoying a bit of warm water and family time,” Chelsea tells
Stab. “
I was in El Salvador for a week. It’s my favorite spot for a surf trip and I use any excuse to go back. The girls usually have a WQS 6,000 there, but when this year’s event got cancelled I kept it in my travel schedule anyway and decided to do some filming. My 2018 is looking like a combination of competing in WQS events with the goal of re qualifying and running away to new and exotic places for surf and leisure. Top of the travel list would be South Africa/Botswana and Sri Lanka.”
I wanted to film part two of my “Wandering” series in El Salvador because it’s my go-to spot for surf trips and times when I want to escape and reset,” Chelsea tells Stab. “It’s where I went for my first surf trip, an all girls shoot for Eastern Surf Magazine. The waves were perfect and I remember paddling out the first day, with six other girls and wondering what the locals would think of the instant crowd… once they realized we could surf, they were happy to let us catch all the waves we pleased.”
“I’ve always experienced happy and welcoming vibes and I think that’s why I love iEl Salvador so much,” Chelsea says. “It’s the wonderful combination of pumping surf, rice and beans, and laid back locals. The WiFi is usually spotty, which just gives you the excuse to leave your laptop closed and slip into the delightful routine of surf, eat, nap, repeat.”
“With ‘Wandering,’ I let go and have fun in one of my favorite surf destinations. It’s playful and carefree and I hope it makes you just want to go surf.”
