Would you take surf betting tips from a pool-cleaner called ‘Tricky Chook’? Neither would we… until we unmasked the Superman-specialist and discovered his dazzling Bells BOAG picks.

Troy Brooks (aka ‘Tricky Chook’) surfed in 48 CT events before joining Quiksilver as their Head of Surf. His best result came at Hossegor in 2007, when he fell to Mick Fanning in the semi-finals. 2005 was his best year rankings wise, where he finished the ASP season 25th in the world. Troy won the Bells trial event several times as a junior to earn a wildcard into the CT, and holds the distinction of a Haleiwa QS win (dispatched Slatz in the semis) and a QS win at Anglet in France, amongst others. His air rev tutorial with Bruce Irons is widely cited as one of the great learning resources in the aerialist’s handbook.

In other words, Tricky Chook knows his shit. Here’s who he’s boxing at Bells.

Cop that, Cornwall. Sincerely, Tricky Chook.

Tricky Chook’s BOAG picks

Mens: John Florence, Ethan Ewing, Sammy Pupo and Yago Dora
Womens: Molly Picklum, Gabriela Briyan, India Robinson
Misc: Kelly doesn’t show up

BTW: No Mikey C picks available this week as he is currently Joyriding thru NZ.

As always, place your bets over at Betonline.AG.
