What happens on a lay day at Supertubos

Yesterday (or today, depending on where you are), was a layday at the Rip Curl Pro, Portugal. Between meals at Restaurante Popular and uploading Instagram pictures, many of the 34 spent the day feeling out the Supertubes banks. As Matt Wilkinson says of the place, “It’s awesome whether it’s one foot or eight foot and delivers some of the best tubes on the planet, but also is great for airs as well.” Above is a mini-gallery of some of the day’s finer moments.
