Watch: Channel 51 — A Lexus Pipe Pro Finals Day AltCast 

Do you really need a helmet at 3-foot Pipe? Are coaches pointless? Which CT rookie is most likely to start a cult (and make it work)? Will Steph ever return to the tour? Which surfer says the most post-heat cliches? What’s the worst claim you’ve ever seen? And, should public meditation be socially acceptable? 

Over the past week, the Stab team has been holed up in Red Bull’s Santa Monica headquarters preparing questions like these, while wrangling surfers and honing live feeds. 

Why? Well, it’s all part of our attempt to organize a uniquely raw platform for the first WSL Finals Day of 2025.

We’ve dubbed it Channel 51 — a Red Bull TV alt-cast that will feature hosts Damien Fahrenfort, Coco Ho, and Josiah Amico debating unpolished, unfiltered, and sometimes uncomfortable questions about the 51 Championship Tour surfers and the realities of competitive surfing.
