The Stab EOTY Jackpot Is On The Rise
It’s at $61,610 USD to be precise. And the entry window is almost open.
Refresher: Stab is giving the best edit of 2022 a Bitcoin.
The top 12 edits will be decided by Stab Premium members who will have exclusive access to all submitted clips for two months before they are published publicly on YouTube. The 3 best edits from each quarter, plus another three wildcards chosen by Stab will go into the draw to win the Bitcoin. The final 15 edits will be voted on by the 50 most influential voices in surfing – winner takes all.
To refresh:
Quarter #1: December 01, 2021 → February 28, 2022.
Quarter #2: March 01, 2022 → May 30, 2022.
Quarter #3: June 01, 2022 → August 31, 2022.
Quarter #4: September 01 → November 30, 2022.
In December of 2022, voting will take place during the Stab Surfer of the Year poll, whereby we hear from the 50 of the most influential voices in surfing. They will pick from the 15 Stab Edit of the Year finalists to choose the best one.
Final voting period: December 01, 2022 → Dec 20, 2022
At 6 pm PST, January 12, 2023, we’ll announce the winner of the Stab Edit of the Year.
John Florence has already fired a warning shot for Stab EOTY. If you can beat John with an edit, you’ll cash out some serious clout in addition to whatever the dollar value of the BTC is. It’s currently worth $62,000 USD ($82,000 AUD). Some estimates have BTC appreciating to $100,000 USD in the next two months.
With a month to go before the first quarter, it’s time to start stitching together those clips and getting them polished for audience viewing. Remember: Unseen clips only. No rehashing stuff from old edits, Vlogs, Instagram clips, etc.
