Taj Burrow Is A Man Of Leisure

And another addition to Epokhe’s impressive roster.

Listen Now, Misty Dawn was something of a resurrection for the old Taj. That aggressive Taj with a ferocious backhand hack. Not that Taj went anywhere, he’s just been, well, busy.. You know, doing whatever ex-tour guys do, travelling to exotic locations, starting a beer company, filming with Joe G and recently, joining the team at Epokhe – the spurious offspring of Dion Agius, Kai Neville and Mitch Coleborn.

Dion told Stab, “Today’s been a pretty surreal day for Kai and I, Taj was our favourite surfer growing up and we used to chase him around the Gold Coast in his golden commodore trying to film him. That was way before we knew him. Now he’s on our team. We’re stoked.” Which is pretty hilarious. Like us, these gents had either Montaj, Sabotaj and Fair Bits in their VHS at any given moment, swapping out to the next after the third run through.

Throughout all the chaos and launching their new film (which if you haven’t seen, head here), and the exploring new surf sub-cultures in places like Bristol, England, the Epokhe team never officially announced Taj to the clan. But we aren’t complaining, they just delivered us one hot minute of Taj looking ever so gracious in LN,MD. Which we’re sure you already watched (twice).
