Watch: Ryan Callinan Rips Apart Portugal And Home

In case you haven’t heard, Ryan Callinan’s back on the 2019 Championship Tour roster. After slumping in his rookie year, the screwfooted novocastrian is returning with some competitive prowess. 

He notched up fourth on the QS and a second place finish as a wildcard in Portugal this year. It’s not as if his surfing’s radically improved – it was always astonishing – he’s simply honed his competitive strategy and mindset. 

Now whether we put this improvement down to Ryan’s recent meditative practices, or simply added jersey experience, we’re sure his presence will be felt on the CT.
