The cat is out of the bag, and we couldn’t be happier.

Sierra Kerr wins the Ladybirds division and the Monster Air, while Rasta Robb wins the Mens division and brings honor to Flagler Beach.

Putting together events like Vans Stab High Indonesia, presented by Monster Energy requires an enormous team of creatives, administrators, producers, surfers, and partners. It also takes a fair bit of luck. So, when we finally arrive at the other side of such a project, it’s a gratifying feeling.

Of course, we wouldn’t be doing any of this without our passionate audience, so when we get to put on live events for you all, it’s the cherry on top.

Ladybirds in attendance.

Last Thursday, we released our final episode of Vans Stab High Indonesia, presented by Monster Energy and, to celebrate, we held a premiere to reveal the winners, showcase live music, and offer a meet-and-greet poster signing at Pour House Oceanside. A bunch of our surfers showed up, including winners Sierra and Rasta Rob, and we shared a night of cold beverages and big sections with Stab High fans from Southern California and beyond.

Below is a gallery of the night, which featured live appearances from local bands The Renters and Quicksands.

Pour House welcomed us with open arms, warm food, and cold beverages.
Hard to do anything but smile with this many friends around.
Grommets: Activated
Kevin “Baja Koala” Meza made the quick drive up from Ensenada.
Our very own Garrett James MC’ed, and made sure nobody went thirsty.
Sierra Kerr was — needless to say — very stoked.
We also brought a photobooth.
…which the Kerr’s had fun with…
…and the groms…
…and the regulators.
Poster signing is an under-appreciated art form in the world of digitized surf culture. But you can’t hang an Instagram reel on your wall can you?
Erwin Bliss enjoying the moment.
A few games of pool while waiting for the bands to start.
Quicksands welcome the back half of the night.
Red lights and power chords.
Things started to get a bit blurry by the end…
…but the show continued.
