Australia is amidst an unprecedented bushfire crisis. At the midway point of the typical bushfire season, 10 million hectares of land has burned, an estimated 500 – 1 billion million animals have died, 2000 homes destroyed, and at least 26 people have died.

The reserves have been called in to assist with the aftermath and continuing crisis, and after initial stagnation, both state and federal governments have committed further funding to deal with the fallouts.

These past few weeks and months have however brought many Australians (and those around the world) together to provide financial assistance to those in need. Millions of dollars have been donated by the general public as well as by celebrities and public figures, additionally, many business (surf included) have raised hundreds of thousands in raffles and fundraising to donate to the RFS, WIRES, and often the victims themselves.

To contribute further to the cause Haydenshapes, URBNSURF, Pulse Surf Charters and Former have joined forces to create a particularly special prize with all proceeds going directly to WIRES wildlife rescue.

So, here’s the prize:

Yourself and a friend will fly to Melbourne from wherever you are in the world to meet with Hayden Cox, the founder of Haydenshapes. Hayden will be carrying four custom boards for you and your pal where you’ll head directly to URBNSURF’s Melbourne pool for an exclusive day of shralping.

That however is far from the end.

After a full day surfing in Melbourne you will both hop a plane straight to Indonesia where you’ll hop on a Pulse Surf Charter for 10 days exploring the same zones surfed by the HS team in These Violent Delights. Then, one you’re entirely surfed out, treat yourself to $1000 worth of Former merch hopping on their website and taking whatever you choose.

All in all it’s $30k in value and probably the best two weeks of surfing you’ll ever have.

Tickets for entry are $20 AUD and you can buy as many tickets as you like—the more tickets you buy the more chances you’ll have to win.

Click here to purchase tickets to the Haydenshapes fundraiser!

Don’t forget, all ticket money will go directly to WIRES who are doing a wonderful job caring for the animals who have survived these heinous bushfires plaguing Australia’s South East.
