Oxbow Announces Movie Night Tour Throughout Europe
Treat yourself to surf cinema.
Oxbow is making big moves in the content creation game.
And, no, we’re not talking TikTok.
They’ve invested the immense amount of time, money, and brainpower required to create compelling surf films. And now, it’s time to show them off. They’ve just announced a 20-stop tour throughout Europe.
The hallmark pieces of the tour are Oxbow’s films’ Children of Teahupo’o’ and ‘Walkabout: The Songlines of Surfing,’ which both run for about 40 minutes. COT is a deep dive into the people who call Teahupo’o home at a moment when the town stands at a developmental crossroad, while Walkabout covers the unexpected connection between Australian legend Robbie Paige with French surfer Arnaud Mestelan.
The movie nights will also showcase edits from Oxbow surfers and Stab Highway stars Maud le Car and Miguel Blanco, as well as Laure Mayer and Pierre Rollet.
Some of the stops are at proper cinemas. Others are at surf shops. Many feature afterparties and free food and drink. If they’ll be near you’re town/ville/ciudad/dorp/ortschaft, you’d be a fool not to show up.
Get all the dates and details here.
And if they’re not rolling through your hood, fret not. We’ll have a showing of Children of Teahupo’o on Stab Premium next month.
