Imminent Arrival: Dane Reynolds’ New Offspring

There are only two real uncertainties in life: Twins.

Yung Sammy Reynolds hovers, at this moment, on the cusp of acquiring two new siblings. Do you think he knows? Does he understand that his father, a true culture-shifter, one of surfing’s rawest natural talents, and his mother, a strangely famous animal lover/art director/designer, have just woken up on the due date for their two new family members?

Yesterday, Dane and Courtney both posted the above image on nu-world PR platform, Instagram.

“Delivering tomorrow,” said Courtney.

“Big week,” wrote Dane.

“I’ve always been fascinated with twins,” Wynona Rider once said.

And indeed it is a big deal – one baby alone is a wild ride. But it’s also nice to note that these two cherubs will lighten the melancholia that’s bound to have hung in the Reynolds family home since the passing of their widely loved English Bulldog, Boogie, two-ish weeks ago. But, imagine the kawaii kitsch photoshoots Courtney will be able to curate with her new cast! Expect forthcoming brilliance from the future mother of three (plus Pam).

“When I was 2 months pregnant my friends were over n we were talking about how many kids we thought we’d have,” wrote @napkinapocalypse back in July. “I said 2 assuming I was pregnant with one. I went into a spiel about how I wasn’t one of those girls who was born always wanting to be a mother and when you have three you really have no choice but to just be a mother for a while. that next week we found out we were having twins.”

From Stab and the rest of the surfing world: Bravo, good luck, and congratulations, Courts and Dane. Your world is about to be turned upside down in the best possible way.
