A few days ago, Italo Ferreira announced that he had parted ways with Billabong, his main sponsor of seven years.
We erroneously reported that Italo’s contract with Billabong was due to expire at the end of October 2023 — we’ve since learned that his contract was good until October 31, 2025, meaning that something must have happened for them to split.
