Here’s How Wonderful Pipe Was Yesterday

Oh dear, Pipeline was fabulous yesterday.  “We saw a combo NW / WNW swell arrive almost a day later than forecasted,” lensman Matt Catalano tells Stab. “By the morning it was 10-12 foot and was non-stop all day. At first, there were mostly wash-throughs at Pipe but by the evening it became organised and the result was classic conditions for Backdoor, Pipe, and Gums. There were a lot of clean-ups for surfers and water photographers and even a ski got washed out when the engine didn’t start up during a pickup.
