Clip Catcher
Above – Chris Bryan, Phantom Reel. Man, those Phantom cams sure do look crazy-like. There’s some stuff in here y’might have already seen. There’s also some stuff in here that ain’t surfing, like UFC and junk, but it’s worth sitting through for the amazing water footage. Some awesome moments – Kelly at Shipsterns, Dane Reynolds’ finner and a very pleasant surprise at the 11min mark. Below – Ry in Slow Mo One of the most awesome things about West Australian Ry Craike, is that even though he’s most-known for being an aerial wizard, his abilities in wetting rail and threading tunnel are unbelievable. He’s a truly well-rounded surfer, and one of the more underrated in the game. Keeping in step with the slow-mo vibe, here’s a clip of Ry… in slow-mo. A DAY IN SLO MO from Tom Jennings on Vimeo. Below – Josh Kerr in Rio: Take Two We’ve already seen one Josh Kerr in Rio clip, but y’can never have too many, huh? Josh certainly gets just as buck-wild in this as he does in the first. The man doesn’t ever seem to slow down – nearly every clip he produces seems to contain, on average, three really, really good airs. And we don’t get sick of seeing those Josh Kerr in RIO II from rustyintl on Vimeo. Below – Dooma: Innersection And lastly, Damien ‘Dooma’ Fahrenfort’s Innersection entry. He surfs to The Strokes, which is cool, the surfing’s pretty decent and the whole thing has a fun vibe to it. Plus, one of the right handers he surfs (the barreling one that sucks into a shorebreak closeout) is, well, dreamy. Dooma Innersection from Matt Lovas on Vimeo.
