A SITD Night At Bell’s
Bell Surf hosts Stab In The Dark finale in Hossegor.
For something so widely known, shared and talked about, the turnout for our SITD screening of the Ethan Ewing finale still managed to pack out Bell Surf.
A v3.0 surf shop like this could never exist on the narrow streets of Hossegor. Just outside town, before reaching the highway south to Biarritz, or if you’re chasing something with a bit more pulse, to Mundaka, sits a space you’d struggle to walk out of without putting a dent or a few to your credit card.
Outside, a proper barbecue, roughly seventeen languages and idioms in the air, industry rumours, gossip and anecdotes reaching ears, before a fizzy drink jingle sounded and Ethan Ewing, once again, graced a massive screen.
Jokes about who’d win were aplenty, but despite the lack of interest in knowing who won again, Ethan’s surfing kept eyeballs in a state of hypnosis for the entire length of the episode.
