Watch: “No One’s Gonna Give You Nothing”

While making this short film with the help of Richer Poorer, we learned a lot of about Mr Fuller. We met him at his studio in DTLA, he was preparing for a show in San Francisco at the time. We talked to RVCA’s Pat Tenore. We talked to his mentor Steven Ziegler. We heard stories that made us laugh. Stories we couldn’t exactly publish. Stories that solidified our reason for making this documentary. Danny’s one of the few individuals who has taken a career in surf and turned it into a flourishing career in photography and fine art – from the beach to the celebrity circles of Hollywood, NYC and beyond. His surfing speaks for itself. His art sells for upwards of $20k. He’s dashingly handsome. Has two beautiful children. Charges. In short, the man’s made it – a fact we feel necessary to celebrate.
