4x CT Winner Damien Hobgood Makes His Fiji Pro Picks

Counting two CT wins in Fiji, one in Tahiti and another in Santa Catarina, Damien Hobgood’s surfing career has been defined by his heft in heaving left tubes. 

Alongside his twin brother, C.J., Damien quickly rose through the ranks, clinching the 2000 Rookie of the Year title, making 139 CT appearances over his 14 year tour tenure. Damo is also recognised for holding one of the highest two-wave scores in pro surfing – a 19.9 out of 20 in the 2004 Quiksilver Pro Fiji — where he defeated Andy Irons.
