Attention Fin Tech Nerds: Welcome To Alpha

The problem with being the alpha is there’s always someone or something trying to take you down. Take John Florence for instance; his yellow jersey screamed alpha and dear Gabriel Medina whipped, leapt and tucked behind him in an attempt to thwart his throne. The same goes in the animal kingdom, in surfboards and fins. And thus, Futures’ Alpha was born. And they’re just a small step in a bigger project called Morpheus, and when Morpheus hits the shelves that familiar question will be posed: “Will you take the red pill, stay in Wonderland, and see how far the rabbit hole goes?” But in reality, you’re just looking to go faster and displace more water, so it couldn’t hurt to give some new tech a try. And if you’re like the majority of surfers who have no idea what the subtleties of fin design do, just screw them in and try to feel the glide.
