Alana Blanchard – Men’s Health’s Sexiest Woman In Sport

Alana Blanchard is the sexiest woman in sport. Or so says Men’s Health, who just named her so. “Not only do these female athletes look great,” reads Men’s Health‘s sub-heading, “but they also know what it takes to succeed physically—and they want you to keep up with them.” How alluring. You may remember that Alana caught Stab’s attention a while back too, which resulted in us attempting to portray her and the exquisite Brazilian, Bruna Schmitz, as seen through our lonesome eyes (the video of which is above.) Alana and Bruna are good at catching attention – Bruna also earned a place in Sports Illustrated‘s 2011 swimsuit issue. Ask most male surfers who their favourite surfer gal is and they’ll probably say Alana. But poor Alana just wants to be known for her surfing – not her toned kicker. Men’s Health‘s short, explanatory write-up about the Hawaiian was kicker-focused, too: “You won’t find this wave rider in a wetsuit. ‘I can wear a bikini on the beach. Why not in the water?’ the 21-year-old says. ‘Besides, my best asset is my butt, because surfing requires a lot of squatting.’ She limbers up with yoga and surfs daily with her man. ‘If you share interests, you push each other to improve.’” Anastasia Ashley also made the list: “Her perfect date: anything active. ‘You’re sweating, out of breath, and having fun,’ Ashley, 24, says. Her go-to activity? Surfing, naturally. If you wipe out, just laugh it off and grab the next wave. ‘It’s not all about skill out there,’ she says. ‘It’s about accomplishing something together.’”
