Dion Agius, Craig Anderson and filmers Kai Neville and Beren Hall (who took this shot) were on the way back up north, having been on a road trip to Sydney. With the prospect of fun waves, Wade Goodall (pictured here) drove down from the Sunshine Coast to meet the gang. Unluckily, it rained for the next coupla days and the crew got skunked. Even so, they still managed to score a few gems, (the photo you see above being one of them). See all those kids in the foreground? It’s a school group learning to surf and doing surf survival. According to photog/filmer Beren, “They had a little pop-up tent setup on the beach and they let Kai (Neville) and I shoot from under there, which was pretty cool.” Ah, the kindness of modern educators.
