On sunday afternoon, Travis Potter cast a line into the ocean, kicked back and swilled a fistful of beer with some pals on a boat. The Indonesian sun was smiling and the mood was right.
Some time later, Travis and his pals motored over to a known reef. The swell had started to pulse and the tide had trickled into the perfect height. He grabbed his board – a 7’10” – and stroked into this, his first wave of the session, driving through the truck in perfect grit stance. “I don’t think anyone has ridden this wave backside as good as Travis has,” said Nate Lawrence who, after stints in Oz and NZ, arrived back in Indo just in time to capture this session. “He’s a legend.” Stab agrees!
