While Stab ran our much-professed and now complete surfing contest, The Bungalow in Santa Monica held a premiere for a surf film shot in the actual ocean. Globe’s Cult Of Freedom, The New Zealand Part.

Everything that usually occurred at a surf-film prem went down.

People drank beers, men and women mingled, and eventually, the muttering subdued enough for those to attend their senses towards the movie itself. We could continue on about the present vibe, but it’s probably better left to the above and below images.

It’s safe to assume you’ve seen the two previous Cult Of Freedom parts, The Australia and The Taj Part, and based on those, you know to expect a lot from each instalment. This section features Creed McTaggart, Dion Agius, and Nate Tyler surfing in New Zealand, of course.

There’s still a number of premieres left spanning from Australia, America and France before the film drops online on October 8th. If you’re overly eager, you best find yourself at one.

Until then, remind yourself of what a good ol’ fashioned premiere is like.
