Ryan Callinan’s favourite thing to surf at home, being Merewether Beach on New South Wales’ east coast, is a left beachbreak that chugs into a southerly wind (straight cross-shore for the goofyfooter). While Merewether’s known for its rights, Ryan gets down on the rare left as much as he can, during stints home between overseas trips.
