Oh, Kirra, what treasures she holds. See that man tucked away there, barely visible between rock and sheet glass? It’s Nick Vasicek, and what you can’t see is that he’s actually a goofyfooter, parked it in this thing, burning down the line. The Gold Coast has been under some heat of late, with plans to build a cruise ship terminal being opposed by locals (a majority of whom are surfers, since the development ain’t gonna be too great for some of Australia’s most well-known spots). Reckon Nick here is concerned about the development? When a stretch of beach that offers up moments like this is under threat, it’d be hard not to be.
