It’s a love-hate thing. The metropolitan skyline you see here might tingle the vertebrae in acknowledgement of the garish faux-glamour that is Surfer’s Paradise. But this view of it also means you’re situated in the real Surfer’s Paradise: Coolangatta, proving its own point in this photograph, which was shot on August 1 by Azad Sellars. You may’ve seen social media light up with the flurry of goodness that northern NSW and southern QLD enjoyed over the last few days. You might even have gotten in the mix if you were able and willing. Mitch Parkinson certainly did, as is studied here. What a fine time.
