Mitch Coleborn, from the Sunshine Coast of Australia, has moved home for a while. The constant uncertainty of sitting just on the outer rim of the top 96 ‘QS surfers makes it hard to get in rhythm, so Mitch thought the grounded-ness of home will be good for a stint. Although, how much time he’ll actually spend at home is questionable – even as this is written, he’s floating around OS.

Matty O’Brien (a fellow-Sunny Coaster who fired off this tightly-cropped moment) went down to the Goldy for a few days, ’cause “The Sunshine coast sucks, and I was keen to shoot with Coleborn and Chris Friend while they were home,” he says. Matty was thrilled when Mitch moved home, ’cause it meant another consistent, powerful and talented surfer added to his shooting options. Judging by this, the two work well together, yes?
