Koa Smith, heaven on earth, Tahiti

Isn’t this just a glorious scene? As the circus cleared out of town, and the final few swell lines rolled across the reef, Koa Smith spread his wings and parked himself inside one almighty Chopes carport. Immaculate ain’t it? Photographer Henrique Pinguim was understandably philosophical about the whole scenario. “During this late session with Koa the waves were perfect and clean, with plenty of good ones coming in from the west,” says Henrique. “More than enough to leave you feeling happy and ready for your next journey in search of more tubes anywhere in the world.”
