Josh Kerr, Todos Santos, Northern Baja

“Northern Baja was pumping the past two days.” This was Damea Dorsey’s summation of the recent swell Todos Santos copped (pictured above), and though to the point, is pretty on-the-money. And Todos ain’t the only spot that’s been firing. When Stab spoke with Kala Alexander earlier in the week, he’d been surfing 20-foot waves on the North Shore with Makua Rothman. Seems everywhere’s coping heat. As well as Josh, Timmy Reyes, Damien Fahrenfort, Brian Conley, Nick Rosza and Nick Vaugn were also all charging during the session the above photo is from. Ain’t it good to see Josh stroking into something this big with his God-given arms, rather than letting go of a rope at the opportune moment? Not that we gots anything against towing, it’s just a nice change o’ pace, that’s all. – Elliot Struck
