Joel Tudor steers beneath the Pipeline, Hawaii

“The beautiful beast that is Pipeline has awoken,” says the photographer Laserwolf, who’s been documenting it the last few days since the winter started waking up. “I wouldn’t call it opening day just yet, but another cup of Joe and she’ll be full throttle (laughs). There was a bit of wind this weekend and not a lot of the boys on it but I swam out in the evening to snap a few, hoping it would clean up. Sure as shit it did and just before dark, the guru of style himself, Mr Joel Tudor, snuck out and picked this one off right away. Him and JoJo Roper flew in for the weekend on a quick strike mission, scored and flew out. Mission accomplished.”
