By no means is this a ground-breaking manoeuvre, but we’re not adverse to indulging a Jamie O’Brien frontside throw. ‘Specially, since we know how quick James spins. Following a stint aboard the Indies Trader IV, for the Red Bull Minor Threat project, which saw Jamie and a bunch of pals (think Kolohe Andino, Bruce Irons, Conner Coffin) drifting around the Mentawai’s for a coupla weeks, Jamie’s gone from bath water to bath water, from Mentawai’s to Bali. While on Indo’s most popular island, he turned up to throw some heat at the night during a Red Bull Night Riders session, which went down at Kuta. Jamie’s also been spotted filming with Chris Bryan, a man in love with Phantom cameras and one of the key players behind Quiksilver’s Moments campaign. This day Chris was shooting Jamie and, according to photog Bradley Masters (who took this shot), the crowd was real thin. Imagine having waves like that, almost to yourself.
