Filipe Toledo, status quo at Duranbah, NSW
Here’s Filipe Toledo, filling days at D’bah like everyone else on the WSL World Tour right now. Yesterday, after calling yet another layday and breaking everyone’s hearts a little bit, Kieren Perrow remedied things by making it known that the contest window would be extended to include a forecasted swell that lands in the two days following the original window. Yeah, it’s more waiting around, but it also might mean some very good conditions to hold the event in. Surfers in the contest, like Filipe here, are left to hunt surfable waves in the meantime – some down south, but mostly at D’bah.
