Dane Reynolds, Naive Melody

The Queen of the coast has been a lucid dream the past few days. Mr Reynolds knows when a solid west swell swings to town to look no further than home. Here he separates the colours of California's midday light, in the right place at the right time. "Dane paddled out around around 10 am at the top of Rincon Saturday morning," says lensmen Chris Papaleo, "which is usually a racey close out. After he took a dozen wash throughs on the head he still managed to slip into a few gems." El Niño's been good to the Golden State this winter, and as of now, there's no signs of slowing.
