Creed McTaggart, tail vision, WA

Summer in Western Australia. That south-west seabreeze is a thing o’ beauty for airs. Throw a decent run of swells in there, which graced the days surrounding this photograph, and it can be a brill place for people like Creed McTaggart, pictured, who like to do airs into the wind. “We ended up scoring some crazy North Point ramps but this is from a smaller day at the closest beachie to Creed’s house,” says our photographer on this occasion, Chris Gurney. “He got a few out here, then we moved over to a reef nearby. We’ve had a mild summer up until this past week and that shows in this shot; windy, steamer weather. It’s been a good summer though, lots of unexpectedly solid swell and good winds for getting airborne.”
