Craig Anderson Arches Through A Spring Swell, Merewether, NSW
“This is exactly what I had pictured in my head before he went out.”
The east coast of Australia is alive! Swell hammers from the south coast up to the mid-north, and while the offshore is still ironing out kinks from yesterday’s washy mess, there’s certainly corners to be found – as Mr Craig Anderson did at his local beach, Merewether, this morning. “I went to check the waves this morning, and when I got up there it was thumping, solid six foot – even close to eight foot on the sets,” recalls affable photog, Bosko, of this morning. “I saw Craig getting his board ready to go out, it was offshore and clean, swell was really south, it was all over the shop, but there were some nuggets out there. I said to Craig that it’d be sick if he got one and stood up in it, which is so funny because this is exactly what I had pictured in my head before he went out.”
