“I live on the South Coast which, in my opinion, has some of the best surfers in the whole country living within a 10 to 15 minute radius of each other. Everyday we'll all kind of meet up and go for a surf, and there'll be no cameras around, and we’ll be pushing each other so much. I mean could waffle on about how much Noz and Shaun rip but to be completely honest, it's the underground crew that just do it for the love that really inspire me. They ride their shitty old boards and put their crappy old wetsuits on they've had for five winters in a row, and they're out there because they love it. I'm constantly trying to take positives out of people like that. I'm sitting in my hammock right now looking two doors down at one of the best surfers on the South Coast on top of a roof, and I'm looking at him thinking how much he wants to be in the water right now.
