Whats Your Mindsurf Make Rate?

There isn’t too much to say about this clip except that the waves look insanely fun and Reef Heazlewood is the perfect surfer for the job.

We’re not sure how many sessions this was filmed in, but the amount of wedge-centric wizardry in this clip is ridiculous. Seriously, we aren’t making half of these waves mind-surfing.

Reef leaps down double-ups into backdoor tubes and bounces over absurd foamballs. There are too many moments of liquid voodoo for us to pick one highlight, but 0:26 can’t be ignored.

You’ll get your share of shifty airs and high octane gouges, but it’s the vortex-shamanism that makes the clip what it is.

Filmed by Dan Scott, one of Australia’s high-definition camera-pointing stalwarts, “Wedge Tour” is a good reminder of just how damn fun surfing can be (if you have god-level fast-twitch reflexes).
