Videogame Tubes At Witches Rock
Carlos Muñoz reminds us that California isn’t the only place benefiting from an active North Pacific.
Whether through the archetypal storytelling of Endless Summer 2, or from Mikey C’s Instagram reels, chances are you’ve heard of Witches Rock. The perfect — and notoriously fickle — beachie is embedded in surf lore, and seems to come up in every Costa Rican expat conversation.
Courtesy of January’s stormaggedon, the croc-infested wedge-factory has been firing, and Carlos Muñoz has been reaping the benefits.
Due to Ramzi Boukhiam’s alleged ankle injury, we’ve been told Carlos may get a call up for Pipeline next week. While Witches Rock isn’t Backdoor, this much tube-time definitely won’t hurt Carlos’ cause if he gets the nod at Pipe.
