Falconer Of Orange County Tubes Sharpens His Wu-Tang Sword
Tyler Gunter shadowboxes at home.
Newport Beach is a tricky place to surf.
The 55 dumps you off into a bumper car Bukakke, and vacant parking spots appear at the rarity tanzanite. On the off chance, you do find one, some crypto king’s Porsche will test the limits of your parallel parking ego (we all have one, I think it’s only a guy thing, but it exists).
The waves aren’t too inviting either. Hesitate during the take-off, and you’ll find yourself receiving an abrasive sinus rinse. Move too quickly, and you’ll blow past all viable sections, connecting mistimed cutbacks of shame.
Newport native Tyler Gunter has a harmonious balance of gas and brake, as he conveniently positions himself under the hood of all canopies in the area. His wave IQ is sharp, like the blade of a Wu-Tang swordsmith. Not that I’m keeping score, but Tyler is also 2/2 on delivering edits with enjoyable soundtracks.
