The First Annual Solento Surf Film Festival Is Almost Here
Taylor Steele’s 3-day surf film extravaganza is not to be missed.
Taylor Steele is a man of many passions.
The dedicated father and acclaimed surf filmmaker turned Tequila connoisseur has tapped into his incredibly deep pool of resources to put on the first-ever Solento Film Festival. Hosted at Encinitas’ La Paloma Theater September 22nd-24th, this three-day event will feature hyped-up surf films new and old. With a who’s-who of surfing’s elite in attendance, it’s safe to say that the event will be a must-see. And while this may be Solento’s first event of this nature, it surely won’t be their last.
So far, the guests in attendance are none other than Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Mick Fanning, Kalani Robb, Pat O’Connell, Donavon Frankenreiter, Pat Stacey, Dane Gudauskas, Benji Weatherley, Gigi Lucas…
As for programming, those in attendance can expect to see the following films and speakers:

With tickets currently on sale for $20 (which be honest, is less than half your average bar tab) and revenue going to a variety of causes, this is a no-brainer for anyone in the Southern California area looking for a good time.
